1-upper

Please don't be a 1-upper. People sound pretty ridiculous when they do so. And it's pretty obvious when a person is 1-upping. Haha.. i heard this term a long time ago from Quoc. But it's useful! I like when people are humble about things. When a person is 1-upping, it's as though they are trying to prove something. But if something is true, why try so hard to prove it?

So Nghia bought me some fish for my apartment, and we got a male/ female for each of 3 species (haha). One of them was pregnant, and just yesterday it was going all crazy, and wouldn't eat. Then last night, he said it looked skinnier and when he looked around the tank, there was a little baby fish on one of the rocks ! It was really awesome i was really happy it was having babies ! But there was just one, and the fish looked too skinny to have had just one baby. We looked all over the tank but there was no baby fish to be found. The little baby was swimming around, and then all of a sudden, one of the angel fish went near it, and it panicked, and then swam fast, and the angel fish ate it ! >=( So we figured that's probably what happened to the other babies =( So we took the Molly(pregnat fish) and put it in a bucket so it can have the babies without the other fish eating it. But when the babies were coming out, they all looked dead =.. So Nghia said we should just put the dead ones in the tank with the other fish so that they can eat them. But as soon as we put them all in the tank, the babies seemed to come to life ! And the mommy fish was having more babies! The babies tried to hide in the rocks, (we didn't buy any plants yet) but sadly.. they all got eaten =( I was really upset all night and today. I'm angry at my fish >=( even though it's all part of nature. It's just such a sad thing! That first baby was only alive for a few moments and i got attached to it. GrRrrr !!!

finally

After long years, i am finally done with college it's such a huge relief, like a burden was lifted off of my shoulder. I can't believe i made it here already ! Not only that, but I got the job I wanted and i am getting an apartment. What a huge step i am taking, life is going to be soo different from here on out.
With that said, i feel really sad I made the greatest friends i'll ever make this semester, and i hate the fact that we are all moving our separate ways. I don't know how life would be without them. I hope our paths cross again in the future. I just wish we could all work for the same company for the rest of our lives.
So crazy. Life is moving too fast for me

kicking off the summer !

This weekend was awesome ! Drift Day 36 was on saturday at El Toro. That day i was just a driver, so i got to drive the whole day and it was sweeeet ! I got a lot of track time, there were only about 36 drivers so, it was really cool. It was the only day when i was completely satisfied with my runs. I guess it was because the track layouts were really good, and i had good tires There were three girls that drove and it's funny because it was me (kat), then Kat Tanaka, and Cat Tran. All k(c)at's Cat let me drive her s14A it was sooo cool. She has a KA-T, and her s14 is prettier than mine, it's blue too.. hahaha. I wanted to ride with Kat T. but the time ran out, d'Oh ! There's always next time ! i can't wait.. i got my pride back.. i freakin love drifting !
